Hardware Tested with UberPOS

Here is the POS hardware we are currently using for testing.

Hand Scanner

We've been using a POS-X Xi3000. They cost about $125 from POSMicro. We've been using it without programming it at all. No driver software is required for this device.

Cash Drawer

We've been using a APG Series 100. They cost about $130 from POSMicro. To make sure it worked with the "drawer kick" on our receipt printer, we made sure to get the AGP Series 100 Part Number T237A-BL1616, which is hard-wired for the Epson TM Series printers. It only plugs into the Receipt Printer. When the Receipt prints, the Drawer Opens.

Receipt Printer

We've been using a Star Micronics TSP100. They cost about $218 (or $241 with the auto-cut feature) from POSMicro. This printer has drivers for Windows, Mac, and Linux.

Card Reader

We've been using a Pos-X XM95U. They cost about $54 from POSMicro. For setup, we used the provided software to configure the reader to only submit Track 1 to UberPOS. You will need an Authorize.net Card Present Account to process payments this way.
