Silas Albrecht is the lead developer of UberPOS.
A senior software engineer at left-click, he spends most of his time programming and building Drupal sites and modules, as well as working on point-of-sales systems. He got his start with point of sales working with IS4C, another open source PHP POS system, at the River Valley Market Coop. Silas enjoyed working on the software so much, he started UberPOS, combining his love of POS with his love of Drupal. His goal with UberPOS is to make it a competitive point-of-sales system for many different industries.
Silas is a fervent Drupal supporter, regularly attends Drupal meetups, camps and DrupalCons and tries to contribute whenever and however he can.
His technical specialties include PHP, MySQL, custom Drupal module development, jQuery and Ajax, and building killer websites.
